Our Nation

I wonder as I wander into the fall.

There are ever changing seasons.

Today we have climate change.

There are fires in Pasadena,

Sierra Madre, Monrovia, San

Francisco, San Diego, and

San Bernardino, California.

We've had millions of acres burned.

The air outside is toxic.

We've had rolling blackouts.

Our continent needs help.

It cannot survive in its current state.

At this rate it won't last.

It needs tender loving  care.

We must face up to save it from disaster.

Otherwise it will have a lasting effect.

Of which we cannot reject.

If we elect to do better, we will succeed.

To be the lead is a good deed.

Of which we need to be steadfast.

At last, we have all the answers.

Just look inside and you will find

a jewel.

The Fall

When I was very young I loved the fall.

It's a time of ever changing seasons.

When the leaves turn brown, orange

and yellow.

The air is crisp and clean.

The sky is bright blue.

It's a time to enjoy.

A time for peace.

A time for joy.

A time for love.

It's a time to make changes

like the wind.

It's a time when sea breezes

come a pounding upon the shore.

It's a time to come together.

It can be a happy or sad time.

It's up to you.

Fall

A fall is not to be misunderstood.

For to fall for someone is a good thing.

If the other person reciprocates

its great.

If they don't, it's time to go.

What we do not know is why.

But soon we learn the reasons

for the season.

It's a great time for a new beginning.

Because we are winning.

We are grinning.

It's a wonderful way to start a day.

All we can say is hey.

As we start on our journey

through life.

A life of living well as

we stay on top of hell.

To be the bell of the ball.

So we do not fall.
