In a Corner of the Sky

In a corner of the sky I listen to September Song by Kurt Weill.

I remember the fall days of leaves and music and clocks beating quicker.

Dwindling calendars shivered as vintage albums spun on Victrola dog days.

A crescendo of rain and fluorescence mixed watercolor onto pavement turning melodic these days of summer heat and symphonies.
